The Seattle Seahawks certainly had an interesting 2010 season. They finished at 7-9, but yet they made the playoffs, becoming one of the worst teams record wise to be in the postseason. But after all of that, and all the criticism they were facing, coach Pete Carroll led the team to an upset of the New Orleans Saints in the Wild Card round. What a year!

Now Seattle faces a lot of questions, however. One, can they build on the success of last year and keep moving forward? Perhaps most importantly, who is going to be the quarterback? At this time it was unclear whether or not the Seahawks would resign veteran quarterback and team leader Matt Hasselbeck, or whether Charlie Whitehurst would be the new quarterback.

There are some key guys in key positions for the Seahawks though, building blocks that can be counted on. On defense there are guys like Marcus Trufant in the defensive backfield, Raheem Brock on the line, and Lofa Tatupu and Aaron Curry in the middle of the field.

Perhaps their weakest area is the offensive skill positions, with a whole lot of number 2 or number 3 receivers, but not a real number 1. Running back Leon Washington is a versatile threat and can score on a return at any time, but he's not an every down back. So who will emerge there, and once again, which quarterback will be getting that guy the ball? Carroll is sure to roll out plenty of new solutions in 2011, to a raucous 12th man, the rowdy fans with their 2011 Seahawks tickets.
