Last season was the first season in the new era for the Philadelphia Eagles, the post-McNabb era. It looked like Kevin Kolb was going to be the new quarterback of the future, but then he got hurt, Michael Vick came off the bench and started playing out of his mind, and the rest is history, however recent it is.

It was amazing to see Vick playing like he was last season, with all of the athleticism and speed of his younger days, plus a new, more focused, accurate and in control passing game.

There are playmakers on defense too, but perhaps for the first time in a decade the names on offense are even bigger. But on defense you have veterans like Asante Samuel, Trent Cole, Brodrick Bunkley and others bringing it each and every week.

It's Vick's time now though, Vick and Jackson and the rest of the crew that can put up 40 points on any given Sunday. The offensive line just needs to keep them all healthy, and Vick needs to keep playing with his newfound maturity. If they do all of that, the 2011 season for the Eagles just made have a Super ending.
