The New York Jets talk a real big game, and it starts with their head coach, Rex Ryan. They make no allusions to their intentions, what they plan to do, their expectations for the season, what they think of their competition, and so forth. So, after a strong playoff run in 2010, the Jets are making it clear that in 2011 they want to win the Super Bowl. Is it more talk, or could they actually get the job done?

The defense remains led by its great defensive unit. Darrelle Revis is of course one of the best defenders in the game, Bart Scott is all intimidation and fire, Jim Leonhard is strong at the safety position and there are so many other key contributors at every position.

Of course, the defensive unit can only do so much, and it's up to the offensive unit to kick things up to a higher gear. Led by Mark Sanchez, the offense can perform great when he does, but he still hasn't been consistently very good. It's a big season for him to take it to the next level, and once again he'll turn to LaDainian Tomlinson, Shonn Green, Bryalon Edwards and Santonio Holmes for support.
