2010 was supposed to be a great year for the Penn State Nittany Lions. They were coming off of two straight 11-2 records, and in 2009, had ended the year with a bowl game win over LSU. Coach Joe Paterno had found some of his old magic, and was hoping to turn 2010 into a glorious run at another national championship.

Unfortunately, it didn't turn out that way for the legendary Paterno and his Nittany Lions. The team floundered and ended up at 7-6, as they just three of their last four games, including a bowl game loss to Florida. Granted, four of those six losses came against top 20 teams, but they only had one win over a ranked opponent to help compensate for that.

But for 2011, Paterno and company is back yet again, and he still insists that he's not going anywhere for the time being. Plenty of Nittany Lions fans are torn about whether or not that's a good thing for the program, but they all support him and the team and flock into Beaver Stadium with their Nittany Lions football tickets nonetheless.

Penn State has another tough road in 2011, as they continue their series against Alabama, at least getting them at home this season, and add a game against Big 10 newcomer Nebraska, also at home. They will go on the road for games against Ohio State and Wisconsin. Will 2011 be a comeback year for Paterno, or will it finally be a year to say goodbye?
