It's a new start for the Michigan Wolverines, with head coach Brady Hoke overtaking a squad from Rich Rodriguez which was basically a failed era for him entirely. He never got his style of football going at Michigan, and the team struggled.

After a long and highly publicized coaching search, it was Hoke who landed the position, and promises to reinstate some Wolverines football glory after some down years.

2010 started strong for the Wolverines, as they were led by dynamic Denard Robinson and won their first five games. That included a big win at Notre Dame, and a season opener win over Connecticut, and things were looking bright in Ann Arbor. But the team would lose six of their final eight games, and even though five of those losses were against ranked teams, it was too much for Rodriguez to survive.

Hoke and his new look Wolverines could also get off to a hot start in 2011, and that's what the crazy 100,000 plus fans with Wolverines football tickets will be hoping for. Their first five games are at home, including matchups against Notre Dame and Minneosta. The end of the season will be tough though, with games at Iowa, and then Nebraska and Ohio State coming to town in the final two weeks, so Hoke will have his work cut out for him there.
