It seems like no matter what Les Miles does, the Mad Hatter will never be completely embraced by fans of LSU football. He was mostly decried last season, even while the Tigers finished 10-2 and ended the season with a Cotton Bowl victory over Texas A&M.

The month of October will therefore say a lot about the team and where we will be seeing them in December or January.
