It wasn't a pretty year for the Georgia Bulldogs in 2010. They won their first game and then lost four straight before finishing with a losing 6-7 record, ending with a Liberty Bowl loss to UCF. But Mark Richt is back, and the same injury problems and off the field issues can't be expected. Look for Georgia to play with some ferocity and look to make amends for last year during the upcoming 2011 season and schedule.

They will have plenty of chances to score big wins during the 2011 campaign. That will start right at the beginning of the year, when they host Boise State in a huge nonconference game, and then play South Carolina, also at home, the very next week.

The good news for the Bulldogs is that their schedule is favorable this year in terms of which opponents they get at home. In addition to those two, Auburn will also be traveling to Athens for their match, and towards the end of October Georgia will play their yearly traditional neutral site showdown with Florida in Jacksonville.

The down season in 2010 couldn't stop the team from gearing up for 2011 though as Richt pulled in a top 5 recruiting class, so the Bulldogs are stocked and ready to make a run. Even though Richt has a sterling 96-34 record in his era, he hasn't won an SEC divisional or conference championship since 2005, so he needs a big year from his squad to stay at the helm.
