Teen sensation Miley Cyrus announced her 54 date "Best of Both Worlds Tour" on August 8th. The 14 year old singer/actress/songwriter will perform as both herself and Hannah Montana, including material from both the show and her new solo album, "Meet Miley Cyrus."

The tour begins in St. Louis on October 18 and finishes in Albany on January 9.

Destiny Hope "Miley" Cyrus was born in Franklin, TN near Nashville and is the daughter of country start Billy Ray Cyrus. Cyrus has the nickname "Miley" because she kept smiling ("Smiley") when she was younger.

Cyrus spent much of 2006 opening for The Cheetah Girls on 20 of the 39-city tour.
